Historic home with a new layout
A smart redesign that brings back space and light
This historic home called for a thorough approach. The first and second floors were overdue for renewal: the layout was outdated and failed to make the most of the available space. A chance to let the full potential of this property shine.
The second floor was stripped almost entirely and redesigned from scratch. Three spacious bedrooms, a bathroom and a separate toilet were realised. A clear and practical arrangement that fits perfectly with how this family lives.
A defining intervention was replacing the existing internal balcony with a large dormer window. This not only created considerably more space in the bedrooms, but also floods the floor with natural light.
On the first floor, preparations were made for a new kitchen by Robert Tediek. An ensuite bathroom was also realised within the master bedroom, and the separate toilet was fully renovated. Our own parquet specialist carefully maintained the hardwood floors on this level, giving the space the warm, high-quality finish that a home like this deserves.
A project we look back on with pride, and a home that is fully ready for the future.
